Alissa is the CEO of Texcel, taking over from the founder Bruce McKenzie who will remain with Texcel as an advisor. Alissa comes to Texcel from a background of financial services, including spending the last four years establishing and growing a small business fintech. In her last role Alissa was integral to developing the technology stack that allowed small businesses to gain access to credit within a few minutes, using real time data services to rapidly assess risk and dynamically assign pricing and repayment strategies. It is this experience that will help Texcel leverage its vast data collection capability and provide its clients with real time information on the environmental data from their projects. In her spare time, Alissa is also a manager of her two daughters’ Netball teams, an active member of her daughter’s swimming support group and a proud supporter of her son’s basketball team. Alissa enjoys watching a movie to wind down, and finds it a major accomplishment if she gets to the end of the movie these days!
